     Frühe Prägung

     Der frühe Einfluß von Science-Fiction-Serien der 60er & 70er, wie
     Mit Schirm, Charme und Melone, UFO, Invasion von der Wega,
     Thunderbirds oder Time Tunnel blieb nicht ohne Eindruck auf den
     jungen Künstler. Diese Serien vermischten sich mit Comics und Perry
     Rhodan Romanen des älteren Bruders. Eine Determinierung auf
     fantastische Themen war dadurch fast zwangsläufig.

     Early influences

     The early influence of science fiction-serials of the 60s & 70s, like
     The Avengers, UFO, The Invaders, Thunderbirds or Time Tunnel,
     combined with the mixture of comics and Perry Rhodan novels from
     his older brother had a lasting affect upon the young artist. It was
     nearly inevitable that fantastic themes would play a huge roll in his
     carreer.


    Die ersten Jahre

    1976 fing ich selber an Comics zu sammeln. Zunächst war ich ein reiner Mavel Comics Zombie, später über Schwermetall fand ich auch Zugang zu anderen Comics. Ab 1980/81 begann ich recht rege im Comic und Star Wars Fandom aktiv zu werden und veröffentlichte erste Zeichnungen in
    Fanzines.

    The first years

    In 1976 I started collecting comics. In the beginning I was a pure Marvel Comics-zombie. Later with the introduction to Heavy Metal I got access to other comics. About 1980/81 Istarted my activities in the comic and Star Wars fandom and published some first drawings in fanzines.


    Die Zeichnerszene

    Über die ICOM (Interessengemeinschaft Comic) Regionalgruppe Der stürmische Norden knüpfte ich1992 Kontakte zur Deutschen Zeichnerszene und stieß so zur INC e.V. (Initiative Comickunst). Seitdem war ich an diversen gemeinsamen Projekten und Ausstellungen beteiligt.

    The cartoonist scene

    With the ICOM local group Der stürmische Norden (interest-community comic: the stormy north) I started tying connection in 1992 to the German cartoonist scene, which resulted in me joining the INC e.V. (Initiative Comicart).  Since them I've been involved with various projects and exibitions.
